Vulpine, a premium British cycling apparel brand, has launched its Autumn Winter 2014 collection. The brand was launched in March 2012 by ex-racing cyclist Nick Hussey. In little more than two and a half years, the company has established itself as a leading brand in the cycling apparel market.

Unlike similar companies, Vulpine places great importance on creating strong-quality cycling wear that is both functional and looks great. According the Vulpine, “we marry technical fabrics, fit and construction with fine British tailoring and design, so you can wear the same garment for Ride & Destination.”

The new collection has been designed to be functional, durable, and accommodating of the British weather. The range of Ultralight Thermals are quilted with Primaloft Gold, a filling that provides an impressive degree of insulation, yet is extremely light weight, keeping the clothing comfortable and breathable. Furthermore, the outer layer is both water resistant and fast-drying. The Dogtooth Merino Silk Socks draws moisture away from the skin when wet, proving to be a must-have for any cycling enthusiast.

Vulpine’s AW14 collection experiments with both colour and design in a way that is unique in cycling gear. Autumn colours and shades define the collection: from the deep maroon of the Harrington Rain Jacket to the energetic blue of the Original Rain Jacket, this range has been designed to stand out from the crowd. In addition, the Polka Cotton Cap transports the classically British race hat to the modern age by making use of polka dots.
