Vans Continues with the ComfyCush Era for the Holidays

Make it Comfy with Vans’ iconic Era silhouette featuring new comfort technology.

Originally created by Tony Alva and Stacy Peralta, the Era is one of the most recognisable shoe styles ever designed. Since 1976 the simple low top has found a home among skaters, surfers and creatives from all walks of life. So, how do you improve an icon? Make it really comfy. The new ComfyCush Era reinvigorates the classic silhouette with innovative ComfyCush technology for all day comfort, allowing you to be yourself and never second guess what’s on your feet.

A host of design updates address key opportunities to make the updated style more “comfy” in every way, all without changing the visual design one bit. The ComfyCush Era is designed around a co-molded construction of foam and rubber that is the perfect combination of both comfort and grip. Newly constructed uppers focus on tongue stabilisation with tongue tie-downs, while added arch support continues to improve comfort. Plus, new moisture-moisture-wicking lining materials are featured throughout. A one-piece constructed interior improves fit even further. And a classic suede and ripstop upper rounds out the design for tried and true style and trusted durability.

The ComfyCush Era is available now in three new ripstop colorways—royale and andorra, black on black, forest night and grape leaf.

This season, Vans partners with musician Anderson .Paak and DJ Noodles to showcase how they display creative expression in the ComfyCush Era. To learn more about them, the Vans’ ComfyCush Era offering and where to purchase, please visit
