UNIQLO are leading the way for brand innovation, after their recent collaboration with legendary designer NIGO, and of course announcing Pharrell as the face of the brand, their latest move sees the launch of SPRZ NY. SPRZY NY (Suprise New York) creates a cross over between art and fashion, producing a range of limited edition clothing using artists from around the world.
The collection features over 200 items, with a wide selection of t-shirts, accessories and outerwear. The collaboration is in partnership with MoMA (Museum of Modern Art), and the museum has selected work from it’s most iconic artists including Jean-Michel Basquiat, Keigh Haring, Jack Pierson, Lawrence Weiner and the legendary Andy Worhol.
Now available online, the launch saw the entire second floor of the New York flagship store kitted out with the collection, alongside an iPad shopping station and the opportunity for customers to re-energise with it’s own Starbucks.
At MFM we’re huge fans of UNIQLO, and their continuing pursuit to innovate the company is refreshing to see. This collaboration produces a marriage of art and fashion and here’s a few of our favourites:
