Baselworld 2015 saw the launch of Alpina’s first in-house Manufacture Flyback Chronograph, with the impressive patented “Direct Flyback Technology” automatic calibre. As a 2016 pre-Baselworld preview, the innovative, 132-years-young watch specialists are proud to present their new model; introducing the new Alpiner 4 Black Flyback Manufacture Chronograph.

The Little Red Triangle, since 1883

Alpina is one of the few independent Swiss watch companies which does it all. Not only does the development of these luxury watches begin in-house, but they are all produced and assembled in-house, too.

The ethos and main mission of the company is to design and engineer luxe sports watches that are created with the utmost precision.

This has been a long-standing tradition and been proven time and time again over its history by the reliability the models have given, amidst even the most demanding of sporting environments, from high-flying pilots to the extremes of Alps-loving sportsmen alike.

Progress. Style. Technology.

In recent times, the company’s approach to horology has seen a shift towards more simplified technologic advancements. Unlike previous models, some of which are comprised of up to 233 components, the new AL-760 model’s chronograph calibre not only returns to zero mechanism, but remarkably is equipped with a split-seconds function, and only has 96 components for its flyback module; something all of you keen jet-setters will love!

Plus with its striking appearance, this ingenious design is constructed with ease which helps to create a watch that is not only ideal for everyday wear but robust enough for sports applications.

The new model features an intense black PVD-coated case made from stainless steel, and a black dial with beige luminous pearl applied indexes, matching the luminous beige hands.

What’s more, the AL-760 offers a 38-hour power reserve, and is particularly suitable for a drive mounted at the front, immediately under the dial.

The new AL-760 also integrates the antimagnetic, water-resistant and anti-shock features of the Alpina 4 sport watch, but while remaining true to its predecessor, further showcasing a more aggressive and unique personality.

The force of horology is strong here. From now on, you’re always going to be on time with the expertise of Alpina. No white rabbits allowed!
