Kara StantonBack in the day Gary Barlow wouldn’t be considered as a style icon – but ever since he has joined the X-Factor his style has taken a turn for the better and now every week he is seen in a different outfit that is steering away from the average suit. He is a man that knows what suits him and hasn’t had a dull week in terms of outfit choices on the X-factor; every week the media is looking out for who looks the best on the judging panel and I think Gary has taken this crown on a number of occasions.
This goes without saying – one of the most important things about a suit is the fit, if the fit is all wrong then it doesn’t matter how expensive it was or who it was by. Most stores have suit specialists that will be able to help you find the size and fit right for you – it’s more than likely that Gary gets a lot of help from stylists but they are clearly doing a very good job as he looks immaculate every week. Especially around the holiday season suits will be wearable for many occasions, from the work Christmas party to New Years Eve – so now is the perfect time to start experimenting with fabrics and also patterns, we have seen lots of tweed and check print during the live shows and it is clearly becoming a hit as lots of shops are now stocking these styles.

Gary Barlow’s outfits have been by the likes of Tiger of Sweden, Viktor & Rolf, Alexander McQueen and my personal favorite was the jacket/waistcoat by Vivienne Westwood; but along with all of these high fashion designers is Topman’s Super Premium range which he has worn on two separate occasions – proving that you do not need to break the bank in order to wear something stylish.
All of the outfits are finished with elegant ties and shoes, which you can find anywhere, and like I said you don’t need to spend a fortune to look smart as long as the main outfit fits right, so maybe for this years party season you need to treat yourself to a stylish suit (remember to ask to suit specialist for their advice – they have been trained to help find you the perfect fit).
