All-American footwear brand Red Wing Heritage has just launched two new styles of its highly popular Foreman Chukka boot. Styles 9215 and 9216 are crafted from two different leathers, giving each a unique colour, texture and finish.
Workmen who liked the boot for it durability, comfort and lightness, which made it the ideal boot for their strenuous jobs, made the style popular. Now a cult shape, the chukka boot blends high quality leather with a cushion insole and a comfortable neoprene outsole.
This outsole is designed to provide good traction and support in a variety of situations. While not necessarily needed for everyday life, these details point to Red Wing Heritage being intent on staying true to their heritage.
Founded 110 years ago, Red Wing Heritage has built its brand on authentic details and quality materials, both of which are manifest in the two new styles just launched. The leather is contrasted with neon orange trimming around the sole and white stitching which updates the classic style for the modern man.
The blend of style with function is what makes these boots practical, and they offer a viable alternative to other luxury options like Oliver Sweeny and Paul Smith. The two new styles are available in either Black Harness leather or in brown Briar Oil Slick (9216 and 9215 respectively) and are available from redwingheritage.com costing £219.
They are the newest additions to the popular Foreman Chukka line, which already features styles in tan and oxblood leather as well as beige and sage green suede.
