Red Wing Heritage have added to their extensive collection of chukka boot styles with a new colourway – Style 3150.
Crafted from Charcoal Rough & Tough leather, and featuring an Atlas Tred outsole with Goodyear welt construction, the new style has a distinctive aged quality to it, combining black leather with vibrant orange laces to lend a modern twist to it.
Lightweight and comfortable, yet sturdy and dependable, the chukka boot style has been around for many years now, and has always been a boot designed for work. Finnish carpenters originally started wearing them because they allowed for bending, kneeling and climbing, while remaining light and easy to wear.
Nowadays that blend of comfort and practicality is continued through the Red Wing Heritage Brand.
Each pair of boots is crafted in Red Wing, Minnesota, just a mile away from the tanning facility used to create the leather – the S. B. Foot Tanning Company.
A whole-heartedly American brand, Red Wing Shoes has been making shoes for over 100 years in Minnesota, with their belief firmly being that if one works hard enough, one can achieve anything. That quintessential American Promise has influenced the design, construction and sale of every pair of boots, and allowed the brand to forge a reputation for not just getting the job done, but getting it done right.
