The early part of any year is always focused on getting fit and healthy, gyms become busy and sportswear seems to populate the SS Seasonal catwalks. All around the country running clubs are popping up which encourages a positive pack mentality in terms of looking out for ones teammates.

1Inspired by this insular approach to fitness,New Balance are proud to unveil the second edition of their premier running series. The Blue Tab Collection primarily focused on stylish blacked out uppers, fused seams and 3M detailing which emphasis’s the collection’s nod to night time running. Stylishly finished with the unmistakable Blue Tab signature, each design holds true to the New Balance ethos of function, style, comfort and most importantly performance.

Now for the technical bit…

Innovation and high spec are still a big thing with the M890v3, the MR1400 and the MRC1600, all three models have been solely designed for those of us who take running very seriously. The shape and form of the upper wraps around the foot for secured and comfortable support, which in turn works in harmony with the REVlite sole unit; a footbed that is 30% lighter than traditional running shoe foams, but delivers optimum responsiveness to your body movements and the position of your feet as you run. The third generation of the 890 series model was one of the first to debut the REVlite sole unit and had been created to meet the demands and high standards of world-class runners. As well as the revolutionary sole, it also features the ABZORB crash pad for light, comfortable run.

A race day road flat, the 1400 has been designed to achieve an ultra-light racer which reduces weight and increases speed, creating a significantly higher standard of endurance and fitness. One of the lightest marathon models on the market these dynamic shoes come equipped with a REVlite RC midsole, the 1600 features higher density foam for superior responsiveness. Combined with the high traction, feather light Dynaride outsole, this shoe is an outstanding piece of running sportswear.
