MessyWeekend joins hands with UK streetwear label Parlez

Shady Days: Danish eyewear brand MessyWeekend joins hands with UK streetwear label Parlez for their first eyewear collaboration, where style and sustainability meet.

MessyWeekend, the Danish eyewear brand renowned for it’s commitment to style and sustainability has teamed up with UK-based streetwear label Parlez to launch an exciting collaboration of unisex eyewear and headwear. The collection fuses timeless styles with retro inspirations. The campaign perfectly captures the essence of relaxing, sun-soaked days spent pool-side, readying us for the start of summer.

The collection presents three updated pairs of MessyWeekend’s DEAN sunglasses. A classic rectangular style, these are introduced in three bold colour-ways; Havana, Dark Blue Havana and Opac Green. The Parlez X MessyWeekend sail logo is found on the arm, while gold metal end plates at each temple bare the Parlez logo.

Crafted with bio-acetate, a sustainable material derived from renewable resources like wood pulp and cotton linters, these sunglasses consider both style and eco-awareness. Bio-acetate mimics traditional plastics but with a much lower environmental impact. This starts at production where organic elements are used instead of harmful chemicals and creates a material that is biodegradable. These factors all contribute to a more circular and sustainable economy, aligning with both brands’ environmentally conscious commitments.

Alongside the sunglasses, the collection also features two hat styles. The RIPLEY 5-panel cap and TYRO bucket hat are made from 100%

recycled nylon, available in Navy and Ecru. Both styles feature sleeves to hold the arms of your opticals, allowing them to sit securely on the brim when in the shade. Exuding a nostalgic 90s vibe, these offer versatile styling options.
