Regardless of how trends and styles come and go, there is one thing any man will always look good in and that is a high quality luxury suit. Formal wear is where we are headed for SS14 and as you may have noticed, there has been an influx of new brands and new products this season.
House of Fraser is one of the most well known department stores and is famous for its success in supplying the consumer with a plethora of luxury fashions. So it comes as no surprise when they announced the launch of their new and exclusive menswear brand Corsivo. This stylish and sophisticated collection has taken inspiration from the Italian formal wear masters and it encompasses richness in a palette of sumptuous colour, prints and fabrics.
Said fabrics are without a doubt high in quality and crafted in Biella, an Italian region that is home to the woollen mills of Ermenegildo Zegna and Cerruti which coincidentally are two other luxurious brands we constantly covet. This collection will have you lusting for these impeccably fitted suits, they have been designed and crafted to pure sartorial perfection. Details that we find are worth mentioning include the rare AMF stitching technique which interestingly is only performed on one traditional machine.
If you were thinking that suits in summer is a questionable suggestion then may be direct your attention to the tailoring that embraces a beautifully relaxed European silhouette, with jackets of pure linen and super 100 wool which offers you the perfect garments for the warmer months that we wait for with breath that is baited. We are also anticipating our purchasing of the pure cotton shirts, boldly printed ties and (one of my personal favourites) the traditional pocket square.
This collection needs to be devoured so we encourage you to do so by visiting your local House of Fraser store, or alternitivley by visiting the full collection here.
