Denim masters Edwin Europe have just released the lookbook for their spring/ summer 2015 collection and on first glance, it’s a winner.

It almost goes without saying that denim is at the centre of this range. The brand has worked with a selection of refined Japanese and European denim in selvage and non-selvage to create new washes which expand the range and accompany the established unwashed styles that have grown so popular over the years.

Working closely with world renowned Italian laundry Martelli, the G Wash and HR Series styles go from strength to strength. Essentially, this means that you get a great balance between beautifully crafted, contemporary and classic denim.

Because it’s important to keep things moving forward, there is also a new low crotch fit style introduced into the range as well as details like leopard print, camouflage and light jersey knit details on the denim free garments. When shown with the unique wash process pieces, you can a real sense of how strong and well rounded the collection is.

Edwin have also created collaboration pieces for SS15 which sit alongside their own offerings. The Blitz Motorcycles collection is a 21 piece range that extends the line. It features hard wearing and functional clothes in monochrome with the addition of the odd khaki and pinstripe indigo pieces.

There is also a range with Superga footwear which has resulted in a classic white pump featuring Edwin branding on the heel and subtle tonal detailing. Many of the pieces have a “get up and go” energy and you should not be afraid of being adventurous and getting things a little dirty.
