BOUND’S LATEST DROP: The World Cup Collection

BOUND

20th May – British menswear brand bound was born and raised in Manchester, England, in 2018 by founder Jake Messer, with a vision to bridge the gap between contemporary wear and streetwear. Each piece is levelled with detailed craftsmanship and fully custom cut and sewn to make every wear feel original. bound has a conscious level to design original goods with quality of fabrics at the forefront of focus, finishing with retro & heritage inspired fitted goods that are timeless from their first purchase to their continued wear.

Delving into football for one of the first times, bound wanted to create a touch point of fashion in alignment with the World Cup moment. The shirts are designed with streetwear aesthetics in mind, but with fits that will live beyond the World Cup and into a new area for bound as a brand. Featuring retro influences, soft knits, bold colours and boxy fits, bound dips into those classic 90s aesthetics the brand loves to work with – with quality obviously at the heart of the production. Shot by footie-shirt photography expert, Louis Bever, the campaign feels like a time machine, with the retro aesthetic and that 90s feel captured perfectly.

“We specifically chose not to go down the country route and instead dug into the archives of clubs. The knit Polo has always been something we’ve been inspired by Italian fashion, hence the Milan shirt is prominent in this capsule. We then feature your key homage to our Home county of Lancashire.” says founder Jake Messer.
