Following on from the huge success of David Beckham’s first collaboration with Belstaff last year, we now have the release of the second collection. As big fans of the first range, we were naturally very pleased to hear this news.
In the same vein as season one, the new range continues to draw inspiration from David himself and his love of vintage classics, making these relevant today with luxury finishes and a contemporary fit. Aviation styles feature strongly; with a focus on the early days of flying and the super rakish approach to air travel.
One of the strongest pieces is the Ryde – a take on the classic 1940s aviator jacket with a tailored collar, rear pleats and tumbled leather. The Moore design is a more modern take on the look, with its cotton and twill fabric, faux fur collar and slim fit design.
The jacket that Mr Beckham has been snapped in since March (bound to be an instant sell out) is the Stockfield. It’s a classic denim trucker jacket, with a 1950s design featuring leather sleeves. Another Beckham favourite, and last years best selling Stannard design features diamond quilting on the shoulders and elbows. This season, it comes in a snazzy racing green.
David has also added unique elements form his own style into the collection. As we all know, we cant live in luxury leather jackets alone, so the range also includes Chambray denim shirts, bold yellow riding gloves, the must have bandana along with simple T shirts and clean denim jeans with knee detailing. Shop the collection in Belstaff stores nationwide and online.
