One of the most anticipated movies of the new year also features one of the most desirable wardrobes of modern times. To celebrate the launch of the movie, Kingsman: The Secret Service, Mr Porter have released the slick, sartorial trailer featured here, which gives a tantalising look at the movie as well as a preview of style highlights of the movie, directed by acclaimed director Matthew Vaughn.
If now having watched the trailer, you are in the mood to capture some of that sophisticated spy style for yourself, you will be pleased to know that Mr Porter have developed a 60 piece collection inspired by the movie which is available to purchase online now.
Designed in collaboration with Toby Bateman (Buying Director at Mr Porter) and award winning costume designer Arianne Phillips, the entirely bespoke collection is made using the best of British cloth and from the best of British craftsmanship.
To develop the pieces in the collection, some of the best British design talents were tapped up – Drake’s made the ties and pocket squares, shoes by George Cleverley, Cutler & Gross eyewear and Bremont timepieces.
The collection features original tailoring alongside Turnbull & Asser shirting, Deakin & Francis cufflinks and leather accessories from Smythson. To launch the collection, Mr Porter threw a party during LC:M in the purposely built pop up space on Savile Row. Sadly, the store was only open for one day.
At MFM, we are always pleased to see brands and retailers doing things a little differently. This collection is right up our street, with its slick tailoring, sharp vibe and best of British partners. Plus, who doesn’t want to look like a secret agent?
