It’s “tales of travels near and far” ergo city safari that has inspired Martin Asbjorn Bjerre’s latest collection for namesake brand M.A.B. From pink to clay grey, sandy tones to sea navy and finishing off with the orange hues, the colours that have been used in the collection are quintessentially summer. The newly released lookbook shows off not just the colours but the journey that the collection inhabits.
The journey kicks off with the safari set – suede bib shirts and matching play shorts. There are outerwear pieces that give the collection a masculine edge, which is transcended into the bomber jacket and use of the water-resistant nylon. As well as this, leather is used for the biker jacket, giving off a more monochromatic look – ready for those walks when the summer sun is setting.
M.A.B is adding a personal touch to the collection by adding monogram statements. This is with the terry cotton varsity jacket, the “M” sweatshirt and slim-fit grey trousers. To tie it all together we have the use of a sporty attire – the sleeveless hoodie and zippered-sleeve crewneck drape.
Finally, the safari collection is completed with the use of camel. The chic cashmere blaze comes in camel and is constructed with a single-button closure, made with the Danish design. M.A.B is certainly thinking outside of the box and homing in on what summer stands for. To discover the entire collection check out www.martinasbjornbjerre.com.
