Lyle & Scott have come a long way in their 140 years. Initially established to create underwear in Victorian Britain, the company now have an international reputation for their large range of both stylish clothing and classic golf wear. The company have once again decided to broaden their horizons: they have recently launched their first ever Festive Range in time for Christmas.
The range consists of three authentic jumpers, each made in Scotland from 100% Lambswool. Like all clothing from the brand, the celebratory Golden Eagle sits proudly on the left chest, a mark of what the brand has come to mean since its formation in 1874.
The design of the jumpers was inspired by a snowflake motif from the Lyle & Scott archive. As with all clothing from Lyle & Scott, the jumpers have been designed with great care. The modern pattern placement and updated colour palette of all the jumpers combine to produce a range of contemporary knitwear suitable for the Christmas season.
The Abstract Snowflake Jumper has been knitted using the popular intarsia knitting method; the Snowflake Fairisle Jumper is knitted by the unusual float back jacquard technique and the Snowflake jumper is constructed using the Birds Eye Jacquard method.
The brand has also released a new selection of Winter Accessories. From tasteful hats to elegant scarves, Lyle & Scott have used a range of colours to make their winter warmers that bit different.
Lyle & Scott’s limited edition Festive Range jumpers retail for £125, and are exclusively available at the Carnaby Street store and online at www.lyleandscott.com. Christmas doesn’t have to mean ancient sweaters and novelty Santa hats. As well as keeping you warm, Lyle & Scott will ensure that you look stylish and sophisticated.
