We all know that boys (and some very cool women) love their toys, but William Henry plays in a whole different ball game. The American brand is devoted to luxury accessories with a vision and passion for high-end products. They offer award-winning pocketknives and high-quality, unique jewelry made from kevlar, steel, titanium, silver and even carbon fiber.
Who? What? When? Where?
William Henry, as a brand, creates timeless personal style for men through unique accessories crafted with honor and integrity. The brand initially earned its fame from its exclusive pocketknife collections by transforming the archetype of all tools into something much more special: a piece of functional jewelry made to not only be worn, but also used.
The collections today also include writing instruments, money clips, cuff links and key chains. Pieces are often created in limited quantities and each is made with a unique combination of precious metals and gemstones, natural materials, and state-of-the-art alloys.
Here’s a look at some pieces from one of our favorite pocketknife collections from William Henry.
Kestrel Pocketknives
If you’re a bird, I’m a bird. And in particular a bird of prey – as we’re on our knees here at MFM praying to get our claws on one of these stunning pocketknives. The accessory is not only functional, but downright stylish (a superlative personality statement, if you will). In a range of styles and prices, the brand offers something for everyone.
First, we have the Kestrel Scout ($375), a lightweight pocketknife made of aerospace grade titanium. Both the one-hand button lock and the thumb stud are detailed with stunning Kashmir blue topaz.
Next, we have the ever-popular Kestrel Moss Ridge at $650. We are particularly excited about the latter as the titanium frame is inlaid with green micarta. Compact? Yes. Versatile? You got it! The razor-sharp blade is black DLC coated ZDP-189 steel and the one-hand button lock and the thumb stud are set with spinel gem stones. Alone, the blade is 54.1mm and when open, the entire length of the Kestrel Moss Ridge is 127mm.
Finally, our other favorite product from the Kestrel line is the Kestrel Spiral.
Coming in at a whopping $1,575, it features a breathtaking bolster in ‘Raindrop’ mokume gane by Mike Sakmar. The knife is inlaid with a ring section of Wooly Mammoth tusk, which is 10,000 years old.
Everything from the design to the finer details is outstanding, and its deep finger groove at the intersection between the handle and blade make it extremely comfortable to hold.
What’s more, when ordered, all William Henry pocketknives are shipped in elegant wooden presentation boxes, great for upcoming birthdays or special occasions.
High-End Collectors
Give him something memorable. William Henry can definitely help define a man’s character from his accessories to his jewelry. The brand is so distinctive in its style that we have fallen in love with its ethos and its aim to make the best from the best.
