There are many myths about Testosterone in Men, and some believe that the hand you’re dealt in life is permanent. If you’ve got low testosterone, it’s because there is some biological flaw to the way you’re made…… This is not true!
I’m here to tell you that there is an answer out there for people with low testosterone, or for those who want to increase the levels of the hormone naturally in their body for training or bodybuilding purposes.
Chances are, if you’re regularly giving a phallic salute to the world in the morning, you don’t have low testosterone. However, that’s not to say that you can’t get more.
Today i’ll be going over 3 things you can do to boost the levels of ‘test’ in your body.
Something all men should want as more testosterone gives you:
- Increased libido
- Increased strength with good training focus, drive and confidence
- Increased lean muscle mass
- Reduction in body fat
- Excellent recovery
Testosterone also blocks the certain enzymes that are responsible for fat storage and so will make it harder for your body to store excess calories as fat. So even if you’re not into building muscle. This is still something for you.
TIP #1 – Your Body’s Natural Cycle
The first thing you can do is to change the time of day that you eat certain foods. Insulin is a hormone killer! It stops the production of Growth Hormone, and reduces the production of Testosterone while you sleep.
Your body works in cycles of anabolic and catabolic states. It wants to secrete hormones while you sleep, to help you recover and grow, and it wants to break down your body during the day, and store fat for survival.
If you ever mess with this natural cycle, and eat something sugary, or starchy before bed, you’re forcing your body into a catabolic state again. Which will reduce the chances of being anabolic naturally throughout the night, and you may not be releasing the amount of testosterone that your body can achieve.
Switching the times of the day that you eat certain foods is a brilliant way to solve this problem. Make sure you eat any carbohydrate heavy, sugary or starchy food earlier in the day.
At night you want to be focusing on healthy fats and protein. Such as eggs, fish etc.
This will ensure that your body is running in an optimal cycle for your natural hormone levels. You’d be surprised with the results
TIP #2 – Testosterone Boosting Foods
As mentioned above there are certain foods that help your body to produce more testosterone. These are usually foods that are high in both protein and monounsaturated fats.
These healthy fats actually help your body to burn, stubborn unsightly fat throughout the day. So it’s important that you don’t ignore them.
Brazil nuts are among the best examples of these foods. High in protein, and packed with healthy fat, they give you the best chance at increasing your natural testosterone.
I recommend a small handful of Brazil nuts with every meal. Or perhaps a tablespoon of organic peanut butter, if like me, you can’t stand the taste of Brazil nuts.
Whole Earth Crunchy Peanut Butter being the best I’ve found for this:
TIP #3 – The Supplement Route
Probably the most direct approach, especially for males over the age of 25, is a testosterone boosting supplement. Such as Tauro-test from anabolic designs.
Many Gentlemen who workout regularly often have high cortisol levels, which means there Natural testosterone matches that of a castrated male.
( Don’t worry, I felt sympathetic pain when reading that too )
A ‘Test-boosting’ supplement such as Tauro-Test promotes healthy production of testosterone throughout your body.
I’ve gained 2lbs of Lean Muscle Mass whilst using this product, for the last 2 weeks, and it also helps in the bedroom too….. and who wouldn’t want that?
There are many alternative ideas to the three that i’ve provided, but I think loosely abiding by all 3 is a great way to reach your body’s full potential.
For anyone looking to take this a step further, Tim Ferriss has a PAGG stack and recommends to take fermented Cod Liver Oil and excess of Vitamin D to also increase natural testosterone.
I can’t medically recommend that you take over the stated dose of Vitamin D, but I do recommend that you check out his book; The 4 Hour Body, if you’d like to check out more alternatives to the ones i’ve given you above.
There is literally no downside to the tips i’ve given you, and you’ll feel stronger, leaner and more confident than ever.
