Slick menswear brand, Antony Morato, have revealed their season campaign. The SS15 collection showcases the perfect Morato blend of sophistication and highly wearable pieces.
Founded in 2007 by Mr Lello Caldarelli, the 27 year old took his vision and talent and immediately set out to develop his own unique ideas. The focus was on the younger customer and to bring a new generation of consumers to menswear.
This youthful attitude runs through the latest collection (spring/summer 2015) which is perfect for the young man who wants to look and feel smart. Denim, shirting and jerseys are all smart but without the limitations and severity of traditional formalwear.
Having previously been inspired by London and Barcelona, this season the brand looked to warmer climes when thinking about what pieces to create.
The Places journey continues to the Mediterranean and multi ethnic locations of Lisbon, Marseille and Naples. Stylistically, this means a collection that recalls Italicism but also that is full of rich contradictions.
Turning to the clothes themselves, the collection is divided into three lines, each aimed at meeting the requirements of the modern man. “Gold” is a luxury line – full of slim and tailored suits, floral print shirts and bang on trend suede sneakers.
“Black” is in our opinion, the most sophisticated of the three collections – largely comprising of black pieces in different fabrics – leather, denim and evening wear. “Silver” is a sportier line – track pants and hooded jackets with great quality T-shirts at reasonable prices.
