Collaborations are the very foundation of fashion design. It is always an exciting venture. So to hear the news that Alexander Wang, a young New York talent, will be creating a new collection of men’s and women’s wear with H&M is exciting, to say the least. At MFM excitement bursts within each of us.
Not much is known about the collaboration ahead but what we can conclude, with Wang’s experience as proof, is that it will be a very unique collection. There has already been an acknowledgment about “pushing boundaries”, this, coupled with H&M’s venture will bring forth Wang’s brand and designer skills.
Collaborations are all about joining ideas together and binding them to form something that has the basic premise of “two minds are better than one”. In the case of this collaboration, the up and coming Wang working with the large and well-known H&M will be a push in his career, as well as a chance to explore.
In addition, it is the opportunity for two avid fashion enthusiasts to bring their minds together and create something that will intrigue us. Collections are a kaleidoscope into the season and set across visions of what is to come.

They are very open to pushing boundaries and to set a platform for creativity. This will be a great way for a wider audience to experience elements of the Alexander Wang brand and lifestyle.”
